Heat Problems Stall Metro-North Trains, Passengers Between Stations
I was on the 12:07 train from Grand Central. We were trapped on a packed train that lost power with no air ventilation for an hour and a half. It was over 100 degrees and the train doors and windows could not be opened. The bar car ran out of water about 20 minutes in. There were little babies that wouldn’t stop screaming. I was calm until they had to consolidate the entire train into five cars because it was already hard enough to breathe. Train ride from Hell.
